A retired colonel, Dr. Ashvini Goel stands as a pioneering figure in the realm of healthcare. With a foundational MBBS degree from AFMC Pune, complemented by an M Phil in Hospital & Health Systems Management and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, his academic journey laid the groundwork for a distinguished career. As a seasoned director and former member of the committee at the Bureau of Indian Standards, his expertise was instrumental in shaping healthcare policies.

Serving as an external consultant for quality assurance at NHSRC underscored his commitment to elevating healthcare standards. He is a member of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), the Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA), Telehealth Advisory Committee and Domain Expert, TCS Digital Innovation Square (DISQ), and QAI Technical Committee on Accreditation of telehealth programs, among many others.

Notably, he co-founded and led the Telemedicine Society of India, leaving an indelible mark as its past president. His legacy resonates through the integration of technology in healthcare, impacting countless lives nationwide.

Dr. Sanjay Sood is recognized as a leader in driving digital health innovations and facilitating widespread adoption in primary healthcare across India and LMICs. He has over 25 years of hands-on experience spanning diverse geographies in the public health field. He has worked in Benin, Congo, Fiji, Kosovo, India, Mauritius & USA. He specializes in shaping & executing high-impact strategies, stakeholder engagement, program design and business development within the public health ecosystem.

Dr. Sanjay has garnered accolades such as the Innovation Leader of HIMSS Future50 Class of 2021 by HIMSS, the Government of India's Digital India - Platinum Award ‘Innovation in Pandemic’ (for rolling out eSanjeevani), conferred by Hon’ble President of India in 2020, and the C-DAC Director General’s Award for Excellence in 2019. He holds several academic positions as a member of planning board of the Punjab State University and member of board of ICT University (USA). 

His international leadership experience, 30+ authored publications, and roles in various academic institutions underscore his expertise in this domain.
