Digital Health Foundation Course (DHFC)

Koita Foundation with support from Maharashtra University of Health Science (MUHS) and nationally renowned subject matter experts has developed India's first Digital Health Foundation Course (DHFC).

The DHFC is designed to equip medical students and healthcare professionals with the core knowledge and skills needed to use digital health applications – covering foundational topics like Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinical standards, data security, and data privacy, to advanced topics like clinical analytics, AI/ML in healthcare, and public health reporting.

This course also features a virtual Digital Health Lab (DHL), offering students hands-on experience with real-world applications (including HMIS, EMR, and Telemedicine).

DHFC has been developed as open source and is offered to government and public organisations at no charge by Koita Foundation. Moreover, our DHFC partner organisations can modify the content based on their specific needs and also reformat/brand the content as needed.
