As part of the Digital Health initiative, Koita Foundation partners with leading academic institutions, hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and NGOs to drive Digital Health adoption in India.

Project Manager

KF is building open source digital health training and capacity building content. The content is being used by government agencies and other organisations at a national level. The PM will be responsible for the overall development of the digital health education videos and content, coordinating across content development partners, ensuring high quality control, and overall quality and finesse of the end-product. The PM will closely monitor the overall project life cycle.

The PM will play an important role in ensuring product adoption in an efficient and effective manner. PM will be expected to adapt to ambiguous circumstances, effectively respond to partner requests, and strengthen KF’s strategic goals of digitizing healthcare in India.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build high-quality capacity building / training content in Digital Health in partnership with government and large healthcare organisations
  • Manage the content creation lifecycle and content database by managing external stakeholders
  • Manage external stakeholders through all phases of video publishing on web platforms and work in close coordination with external consultants to meet timelines set for the project 
  • Ensure adoption of various Digital Public Goods (educational video library for the medical fraternity, online courses, assessment item banks, etc.).
  • Build and maintain relations with key stakeholders in the ecosystem 
  • Identify and build partnerships with non-profits, social entrepreneurs, and technology companies with expertise and capabilities in building and scaling Health Tech innovations 
  • Providing regular updates to KF management on progress, insights, opportunities and areas for course correction  

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in education / management / social sciences / technology or equivalent 
  • 10 plus years of relevant work experience.  
  • Candidates with experience in working on government consulting projects/ government technology implementation or digital transformation projects will be given preference.  Fluency in Hindi and English is a mandatory requirement 
  • Proven track record of program implementation is crucial 
  • Open to travel occasionally

Content Writer

KF is building open source digital health training and capacity building content. The content is being used by government agencies and other organisations at a national level. The CW will be responsible for generating ideas for new E-learning content types and proofreading content before taking it live.

CW will be producing online content and have an eye for detail. You will also be required to develop content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. To be successful as a CW, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • M.A or B.A. or any equivalent degree 5 to 7 years experience in copywriting.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
  • Experience creating content that conveys techniques, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
  • Strong editorial background and proofreading skills
  • Comfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management contact
  • Working with healthcare companies in previous roles and having a knowledge of doctor/patient target audience would be an added advantage.

Graphic Designer

KF is building open source digital health training and capacity building content. The content is being used by government agencies and other organisations at a national level. The GD will be responsible for building high quality design templates and guidelines which will be used by both internal KF teams as well as content development partners of KF.

The GD will create both functional and appealing features that address the requirements of creating world class E-learning modules. GD should be also able to produce creative assets such as logos, static and animated social media graphics, banners, illustrations, icons, infographics, marketing collaterals and other creative assets. GD needs to ensure that user experience is a fundamental driver of all design decisions. The GD must have ability to work independently and develop ideas from concept through final productions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing overall designs for overall digital health training and capacity building content
  • Create style guides which can be used consistently across various formats e.g., animation videos, powerpoint presentations etc.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Work with content development partners to communicate overall style guides and user interface elements
  • Ensure quality control and adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images across all content developed
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Use latest graphic design tools and stay current on external design trends, technology standards, social media and competitive landscape
  • Provide project progress reporting and insights to the creative leadership

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising or a related field
  • 4+ years of graphic design experience in creative agency or marketing environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Canva
  • Knowledge of UI/UX, Adobe XD and previous creative agency experience preferred
  • Versed in digital and social design best practices
  • FIGMA designer, understand the principles of Agile UI/UX design.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • High levels of ownership and drive required
  • Attention to detail and creativity

Instructional Designer

KF is building open source digital health training and capacity building content. The content is being used by government agencies and other organisations at a national level.

We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences. The ID will be responsible for creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content. Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs and apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
  • State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Support the creation of supporting material/media (audio, video,simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar

Desired Qualities:

  • Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)
