Koita Foundation: NABH Digital Health Standards for Hospitals

September 2025 - NABH launched the 2nd edition of the Digital Health Standards for Hospitals in September 2025. Over 115 hospitals have so far received the NABH digital health accreditation since the launch of the 1st edition in September 2023. The newly launched edition 2 provides both digital health accreditation and digital health certification options for hospitals. The new edition has revised categories of certain objective elements and their interpretations for better clarity based on the learnings from the accreditation of the first 100 hospitals.

The standards help hospitals define their digital health roadmap, and empower and encourage hospitals leverage digital health for enhanced patient care. The standards also help hospitals adopt ABDM platform for healthcare interoperability. Koita Foundation is proud to support NABH in the development and roll-out of these standards.
