Dr. Mrudula is a healthcare operations and quality professional with over a decade of experience in hospital administration, accreditation, and health systems strengthening. She has held key operational and quality roles across leading tertiary care institutions including Wadia Hospitals, Mumbai, Breach Candy Hospital Trust, Mumbai , and Jehangir Hospital, Pune, where she has overseen hospital operations, regulatory compliance, accreditation processes, continuous quality improvement programmes, internal audits, consultant and stakeholder coordination, charity services management, and performance monitoring through structured MIS frameworks—contributing to strengthened governance and enhanced service delivery standards.
She previously served as an Accreditation Officer at the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), where she managed multiple national accreditation and certification programmes including Hospital Accreditation, Nursing Excellence, Allopathic Clinics, and Primary Health Centres. Her work involved planning and oversight of diverse assessment processes and contributing to digital and process innovations, including development of an accreditation portal aligned with updated standards to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), and brings a structured, systems-oriented approach to healthcare governance, quality assurance, and digital enablement.
