Rizwan is the co-founder & Director of Koita Foundation. He also serves as the Chairperson of NABH (www.nabh.co), India’s leading accreditation organization for hospitals, covering over 20,000 hospitals across India.

Prior to Koita Foundation, Rizwan was the co-founder of CitiusTech (www.citiustech.com) and ran the company as CEO from 2005 to 2021. Under his leadership, CitiusTech became a global leader in healthcare technology and India’s first Unicorn in this space. CitiusTech today has over 9,000 healthcare technology professionals and close to USD 500 Mn in revenues.

Prior to CitiusTech, Rizwan co-founded TransWorks (now Concentrix), one of the first BPO firms in India, which was acquired by the Aditya Birla group in 2003. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Rizwan was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Co., advising corporations on business strategy and operations.

Rizwan is the recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2013) and the recipient of the 2002 Indo-American Society's ‘Young Achievers Award in Business’.

Rizwan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), ranking #1 in both programs.

Rekha was a management consultant at Accenture for over 8 years where her key focus areas included operations (business process re-engineering, ERP design and implementation, performance/profitability enhancement), and human resources (corporate governance, recruitment and training).

Based on her experience in management consulting, Rekha has done corporate training in business consulting skills for leading Indian and multinational organizations for over 10 years. She has also conducted training workshops for social enterprises and NGOs on business process optimization through technology.

Rekha received IIT Bombay’s Distinguished Services Award in 2019. Rekha earned her Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay in 1992, where she received the Institute Medal for graduating at the top of her class. Subsequently, she completed her Master of Science degree in Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994.

Surabhi Goel is COO (Digital Health) at Koita Foundation. She brings over 20 years of experience across finance, education, and digital health. At Koita Foundation, Surabhi spearheads digital health initiatives, contributing to major national projects including the rollout of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the establishment of the Koita Centre for Digital Oncology in partnership with the National Cancer Grid, and the Koita Centre for Digital Diabetology with RSSDI, Asia's largest diabetologists' association. She has been involved in NABH’s digital initiatives, including the launch of the digital health standards for hospitals. She has been involved in curating India’s first foundational digital health course for medical students in collaboration with MUHS which is now being rolled out in several other states. She also supports the Centre for Digital Health at IIT Bombay & at Ashoka University. 

She has worked with large multi-national organisations such as Arthur Andersen and ICICI Bank. In her last role she was the CEO of Aditya Birla Education Trust where she led renowned schools and launched a Professional Development Institute, impacting over 200,000 educators in India and the Middle East. Surabhi is a Chartered Accountant and has a master’s in commerce from Sydenham College. 

Aarish is a seasoned public health professional with over 14 years of experience across multiple industries. Prior to joining Koita Foundation, he worked with Reliance Foundation’s Health Outreach programme where he has done extensive work in the urban and rural primary healthcare initiatives.

Moving away from the regular job profiles, he has also donned the hat of a radio presenter with 92.7 Big FM hosting their primetime breakfast show for several years. He has worked with Make a Difference, a not-for-profit organization, as their Public Relations Fellow and Centre Head.

He was also chosen for the summer school cohort of Future International Development Leaders conducted jointly by Duke Sanford and IIMU in the year 2019. Aarish holds a master’s in Public Health Administration (TISS), M.A in Clinical Psychology (IGNOU), and bachelor’s in Nursing (MG University, Kerala).

Amit comes with an experience of over 6 years in Finance and Accounts with expertise in GST and TDS and other compliance work. Driven by accuracy and teamwork, he has previously worked with Pepperfry Ltd, BVC Brinks Diamond to name a few.

Avni is a seasoned HR professional with over 10 years of experience in aligning people strategies with business goals in multinational environments. She has led initiatives across Singapore, Malaysia and India. Passionate about helping organizations attract, develop and retain top talent, she has worked closely with management teams to build positive, employee-focused workplaces that boost morale and productivity. She has worked with organizations like Rolling Arrays, Tata Motors, DigitasLBi to name a few. She holds a Master’s in Management Studies and Human Resources from Mumbai University. She loves travelling, reading books and is a Yoga enthusiast.

Dr. Anuja is a dentist-turned-public health professional with over 3 years of experience in the healthcare field. Previously, she has worked with renowned organizations such as UNICEF, RedR India, Development Reimagined, Sulabh Sanitation Mission Foundation, and Social Alpha (Community Science Alliance), where she contributed her expertise to areas spanning Covid-19 response, Digital Health, Menstrual Health, and the Pharmaceutical Industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing chess and reading books, reflecting her well-rounded personality.

Christina is a public health professional with over eight years of experience driving social impact across healthcare systems. Her work spans content management, program design/ development, and research with a focus on translating evidence into scalable, human-centred solutions. She has built cross-sector partnerships, and shaped initiatives that strengthen health systems and improve community outcomes.

Trained as a nurse and specialized in social epidemiology from CMC Vellore (2019), Christina brings a systems-thinking lens to complex public health challenges. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health.

Beyond her professional work, Christina is a music enthusiast, loves to learn languages and immersing herself in new cultures and history. She is also the author of Dolly’s Diabuddies (2024), a children’s storybook designed to make diabetes care more accessible and joyful for young readers.

Hiloni is a social impact professional with 7+ years of experience in Education, Livelihoods and Government Advisory. At Koita Foundation, she will bring expertise in program design, strategy, and implementation. Previously, she led state-level digital initiatives at Primus Partners and managed TechnoServe India’s Campus to Corporate Careers program.

Hiloni holds a BSc in Business and Management from Aston University. A Teach For India alum, she is deeply committed to creating meaningful and scalable social impact.

Dr. Krupa Mayekar is a public health professional with over 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has a unique blend of experience in both clinical practice and healthcare analysis. Her focus on multiple oncology projects while working at Vasta Global has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this specialized field while her clinical practice has provided her with a solid foundation in medical science.

Dr. Krupa has completed her Master's in Public Health from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and holds a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.

Dr. Mrudula is a healthcare operations and quality professional with over a decade of experience in hospital administration, accreditation, and health systems strengthening. She has held key operational and quality roles across leading tertiary care institutions including Wadia Hospitals, Mumbai, Breach Candy Hospital Trust, Mumbai , and Jehangir Hospital, Pune, where she has overseen hospital operations, regulatory compliance, accreditation processes, continuous quality improvement programmes, internal audits, consultant and stakeholder coordination, charity services management, and performance monitoring through structured MIS frameworks—contributing to strengthened governance and enhanced service delivery standards.

She previously served as an Accreditation Officer at the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), where she managed multiple national accreditation and certification programmes including Hospital Accreditation, Nursing Excellence, Allopathic Clinics, and Primary Health Centres. Her work involved planning and oversight of diverse assessment processes and contributing to digital and process innovations, including development of an accreditation portal aligned with updated standards to improve efficiency and turnaround time.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), and brings a structured, systems-oriented approach to healthcare governance, quality assurance, and digital enablement.

Neil is an experienced program and policy professional who has worked across government, non-profits, and consulting. Before joining Koita Foundation, he served as an Innovation Fellow with the Government Performance Lab at the Harvard Kennedy School. He worked with the City of Seattle to improve procurement efficiency, train government staff, and drive operational reforms across the procurement division.

His previous roles at Central Square Foundation and Samagra Governance involved leading large-scale transformation initiatives in collaboration with state governments-particularly focused on improving school education systems. These experiences solidified Neil's commitment to strengthening public service delivery through close engagement with government institutions.

Neil began his journey in the development sector as a Teach For India fellow, where he taught in under-resourced schools in Hyderabad. He holds a Master's degree in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, is an alumnus of the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University and graduated with Honors from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Ninushka DCunha is a communications and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience across education, private equity, and creative services. She combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across branding, content strategy, and digital marketing to create meaningful communications that engage communities.

She holds a Diploma in Marketing Management and a Bachelor of Commerce, and has completed certifications in project management, digital marketing, and AI applications.

Mr. Rakesh Parab has an experience of more than 10 years in Finance and Accounts. He comes with a rich experience of investments in financial markets.

He has keen interest in NGO sector and is closely working with Koita foundation as their Finance Manager from Last 3 years. Along with Koita foundation, Mr. Parab is financial advisor to Mr. Rizwan Koita. He has done his Graduation in Finance from Mumbai University.

Rasika is a seasoned Executive Assistant with 17 years of experience working with CXO’s in MNC’s. Skilled in Office Administration, Secretarial Work, Vendor Management, Travel Management, Calendar Management. Prior to joining Koita Foundation, she has worked with TimesPro (a TOI group initiative), Cadbury India, Tata Sky to name a few.

Shradha brings together science, storytelling, and strategy to shape impactful programs in digital health. A neuroscientist by education (MSc from King’s College London) and a program leader by choice, she has designed and delivered educational initiatives with global experts, medical institutions, and non-profits across continents.

Her career spans medical science liaison roles, consulting for MedTechs, and creating digital learning experiences that empower healthcare professionals. Whether it’s building partnerships, designing curricula, or driving complex projects, Shradha thrives at the intersection of ideas and execution.

Beyond work, she’s an art enthusiast and poet who believes curiosity and creativity are just as essential as strategy and structure.

Vikas is a seasoned hospital and healthcare management professional with more than 4 years of valuable experience in the healthcare industry. He has had the privilege of contributing his skills and knowledge to esteemed organizations such as Tata Trust and Hinduja Hospital.

His core areas of expertise include hospital operations and administration, quality management, process improvement, NABH implementation, and a strong focus on enhancing patient experience and service excellence.

His educational background includes a master's degree in Hospital and Healthcare Management, which has equipped him with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of the healthcare domain. Additionally, he holds a bachelor's degree in biotechnology, providing a solid foundation in the scientific aspects of healthcare.

Anirban Chaudhury is a seasoned business leader with over two decades of global experience in strategic planning, analytics, and AI-driven transformation. As CEO of the Koita Centre for Digital Transformation, he leads initiatives to drive large-scale digital innovation across healthcare and the social sector.

Prior to KCDT, Anirban was Managing Director - Strategy & Consulting, Insurance Practice Lead - Global AI Hub at Accenture and held senior leadership roles at BRIDGEi2i, and Genworth Financial, where he led global AI and data science initiatives across insurance, finance, and development sectors. He has built and scaled high-performing teams, designed enterprise AI platforms, and led P&L-driven engagements in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His expertise spans data-led business growth, customer intelligence, risk analytics, credit strategy, and marketing science.

Professor Anurag Agrawal is Dean, Biosciences and Health Research, Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University, India, and former director of the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, a national laboratory of CSIR, India. After completing graduate medical education at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, he further trained in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA, followed by a PhD in Physiology from Delhi University.

His primary research is in respiratory biology, and broader interests are in a new vision of health and healthcare seen through the lenses of emerging technologies. He serves on numerous national and global advisory groups, most recently chairing the World Health Organization technical advisory group for viral evolution. He received the Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Prize in 2014, the Sun Pharma Foundation award in 2020, and is a fellow of the Indian national science academies.

Dr. Bhagwati Prasad has over 24 years of experience across diagnostic product development, digital health strategy, healthcare education, and institutional leadership. As CEO of the Koita Centre for Digital Diabetology (KCDD), established by RSSDI in collaboration with the Koita Foundation, he is leading national efforts to integrate digital tools into diabetes prevention, care, education, and research.

Dr. Prasad holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, along with foundational training in physics, and brings deep expertise in healthcare technology innovation. He has led R&D at multiple medtech companies, developing point-of-care diagnostic devices including clinical chemistry analyzers, hemoglobin meters, and vitamin D rapid tests. He established and scaled R&D labs, filed patents in biomedical instrumentation, and secured over ₹3 crore in competitive government grants through DBT initiatives.

He has previously served as COO at Koita Centre for Digital Health (IIT Bombay) and as Senior Associate Dean at Welingkar Institute, with recognized strengths in digital health transformation, product innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and healthcare partnerships.

Prof. Ranjith Padinhateeri is a Professor in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at IIT Bombay and serves as the Professor-in-Charge of the Koita Centre for Digital Health. He also holds the prestigious Dr. P. V. Sukhatme Chair Professorship in Biostatistics at IIT Bombay. His research lies at the intersection of biophysics, statistical mechanics, and soft matter theory, with a focus on chromatin organization, protein self-assembly, and cellular decision-making.

He completed his MSc and PhD at IIT Madras, followed by postdoctoral research in the U.S. and France. Prof. Padinhateeri is a recipient of the National Bioscience Award for Career Development (2017-18), one of India's highest scientific honors. He has also received the Fulbright-Nehru Academic & Professional Excellence Fellowship (2022-23), the Innovative Young Investigator Awards from the Department of Biotechnology, the IIT Bombay Young Investigator Award, and the institute's Excellence in Teaching Award.

He is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences and has published extensively in leading international journals such as Nature Communications, PNAS, and PLOS Computational Biology. His lab's recent work includes advanced modeling of chromatin architecture and nucleosome dynamics using polymer physics and non-equilibrium approaches. He also teaches core graduate courses in biological thermodynamics, biostatistics, and systems modeling.

Santosh Patil comes along with over 23 years of IT experience, including 19 years in healthcare technology, with deep expertise in EMR systems, health information exchange (HIE), medical imaging, and interoperability. As CEO of the Koita Centre for Digital Oncology, he leads national programs to strengthen digital infrastructure in cancer care.

Prior to KCDO, Santosh served as Senior Vice President at CitiusTech, where he played a key leadership role in delivery management, strategic client engagement, and the adoption of GenAI for productivity and solution design. His technical expertise spans HL7 (v2.5, v3.0), DICOM, CDA, and IHE profiles, and he has supported engineering teams in navigating both technical and organizational challenges.

Santosh holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications and certifications including PMP, CPHIMS, HL7 Control Specialist, and AWS Cloud Architect. His early career includes work in retail and GIS domains, adding to his breadth of experience in applied technology solutions.
