Founded in 2007, Quality Education Support Trust (QUEST) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of early childhood and elementary education for tribal and rural children. Beginning with a pilot across seven centres in Palghar district, QUEST has expanded its work across 24 districts in Maharashtra, with collaborative partnerships in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
QUEST works as a knowledge partner to government systems, strengthening early childhood and elementary education through teacher capacity building, curriculum development, and child-centred learning approaches. Its programmes are designed to build sustainable improvements in teaching and learning while enabling government systems to deliver quality education at scale.
QUEST's flagship Palavee programme transforms government anganwadis into vibrant early learning spaces by equipping anganwadi workers with child-centred teaching practices through a structured capacity-building model. The Government of Maharashtra has incorporated learnings from the Palavee programme in the development of the State Curricular framework for Foundational Stage (SCF-FS).

Koita Foundation Partnership
Koita Foundation is partnering with QUEST to digitally strengthen the monitoring and data management systems supporting its Palavee programme. The partnership focuses on streamlining programme management, strengthening field monitoring, and enabling data-informed decision-making to improve programme effectiveness and scale.

- A centralised training management system to monitor Palavee workshops and track participation of anganwadi workers, helpers, and supervisors throughout the 18-month training cycle
- A digital field visit and classroom observation tool to capture coordinator visits and build a longitudinal record of support provided to each anganwadi
- Integrated anganwadi-level data linking training participation, field observations, and child assessment data to provide a consolidated view of programme progress
- Real-time dashboards and reports enabling project teams and leadership to monitor programme reach, training completion, visit frequency, and support evidence-based planning and reporting
